SKIA Victoria is proud to host the 2010 SKIA National Seminar and Championships during what is a very busy period on the Melbourne events calendar. The city is a buzz with excitement post AFL Grand Final, while the Melbourne Fringe Festival is in full swing and the spring racing carnival about to commence. Our special guest instructors are Kancho Kanazawa 10th Dan and Chief Instructor of Shotokan Karate International Federation and Sensei Nobuaki Kanazawa, 6th Dan, former SKIF World Kumite Champion. Kancho Kanazawa is a master of budo and karate pioneer whose dedication and innovation brought forth many advancements to the art of Shotokan karate and karate in general. Sensei Nobuaki is a multiple All Japan and World Champion, and is currently the head coach of the Japan SKIF Team. Do not miss out on this opportunity to experience all that Kancho and Nobuaki Sensei have to offer.

The seminar and tournament will be held at the Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre (MSAC). This world-class facility is situated in the picturesque grounds of Albert Park - Melbourne’s largest recreational lake. MSAC and Albert Park are positioned on the Melbourne City fringe providing easy access to the CBD.
