Shotokan Karate International Australia (SKIA) is an incorporated not-for-profit organisation, managed by a National Executive that is elected by its membership every two years.
The association's high standard of technical excellence is promoted by the SKIA Technical & Development Committee, with representation in every State.
Tournaments are officiated by the SKIA Referees Council and managed by the SKIA Tournament Committee.
The Australian Team to compete at the SKIF World Championships is selected at the SKIA National Championships one year prior to the event.
